We wish you a merry Christmas and a happy new year! Can you believe that the holiday season is upon us? To kick things off, I am SO excited to be sharing a new addition to my Christmas village set! Because no picturesque square is ever complete without one of these. And with holly sprigs, snowflake details, and evergreen garlands, this Christmas village gazebo has holiday spirit in spades!

Ever since sharing my first Christmas village project, I've known that this was destined to be a series I continue to add to each year! I have a whole list of ideas, and I'm so glad I can check another one of them off today with the adorable gazebo.

Cardstock
Vellum
Hot Glue
Foam Tape (optional)
Decorative Ribbon/Gems (optional)
Bone Folder (optional)
A Cutting Machine or X-ACTO knife

How to Make It

1. Use your cutting machine or X-ACTO knife, along with my template, to cut out all of the pieces to your Christmas village gazebo.

Note: If you are using the SVG files that includes the score lines, don't forget to set them as such in Cricut Design Space and attach them to their shapes before sending them through your cutting machine. I used a lime green color to mark the score lines, so hopefully that helps! If you're having trouble with the score lines, check out this video.

Prep Work & Base

2. Start by layering your decorative elements together. Glue the top braces to the inside of the main structural pieces. Glue the vellum liners to the inside of the large roof piece. And layer the green rectangles on the inside of the small roof piece with the holly-shaped holes.

Next, layer the light blue and the dark blue post pieces together, and place them on the inside of the main structural pieces.

Fold both the main structural pieces and the base piece along their respective score lines. Glue the tabs of the base piece to the inside of the adjacent edges.

Then, glue the two sections of the structural pieces together using the long tab. Slip the bottom tabs into the corresponding holes in the base, and glue the tabs down.

Starting the Roof

3. Assemble the roof base the same way you did the main base piece.

Take your three other roof sections, and fold along the score lines. With the holly piece, glue the end tab to the inside to make an octagon.

Next, slip the small tabs of your holly piece into the corresponding holes on the pointy top piece. Glue them down.

Finishing the Roof

4. Glue the tabs of the pointy top piece to the inside of the adjacent edges. Add some glue to the long side of the snowflake topper, and slip it inside the center.

Next, attach the bottom tabs of your holly piece to the inside of your main roof piece. BUT don't attach the two end pieces if you want to be able to add a tealight candle in the top later on.

Then, slip each of the bottom tabs into the corresponding hols on the base roof piece. Once again, don't glue down the tabs of the two edge pieces if you want to be able to add a tealight later.

After that, fold the top tabs of the main structure inward, and use them to glue the roof on.

Finishing Touches

5. Add the railing and snow using foam tape.

Then, assemble the little bows by folding the edges inward, and gluing them to the center. Then, add the bottom ribbon pieces to the back. Glue a little bead or gem to the center for added cuteness, if you'd like.

Layer your bell pieces together.

Add your garlands, bells, and bows all around your gazebo, like so!

Yay! Isn't it just so cute!? I am super proud of how this one came together, and I think it makes a perfect addition to the set.

And, like I mentioned, if you leave a couple of the tabs in the back of the roof unglued, you can slip a tealight in the top for some holiday aubiance.
